Burgen Tennis Courts – Men’s & Women’s Tennis
Having combined for nine Great South Athletic Conference championships, the Piedmont College men and women’s tennis programs play their home matches at Burgen Tennis Courts. The facility comprises of six hardtop courts completely fenced and most recently played host to the 2010 GSAC tennis championship tournament. Located on the hillside above the scenic Walker Athletic Complex, the courts provide a breathtaking view of both the campus and the surrounding mountain ranges. On the northeast side of the facility, court-level spectator seating is available while additional concrete terraced seating was recently added atop the hill above the courts providing a more encompassing view. Having been recently resurfaced, these fully lighted tennis courts provide a tremendous playing surface for all competitors involved and make for one of the best tennis facilities in the entire South.
