Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College Department of Athletics is continuing its overall revamping process with a brand new look for its home website, PiedmontLions.com. After joining up with Internet Consulting Services (ICS) and SIDEARM sports over three years ago, the department is continuing its successful partnership and launching a new athletic website that provides a modern design and added features enhancing the site's visitor experience.
The new PiedmontLions.com boasts a brighter look along with new flash headers for the main and each individual sport page. Modern drop-down menus have replaced the usual menu tabs on the left hand side of the website used for navigation. The online gear store and text messaging services will remain intact, but the PC Sports Network will have a new look to it along with some fresh features including a weekly live radio broadcast pertaining to all things PC sports. Subtle improvements have also been added such as flash pictures behind the menu navigation on each sport's homepage.
Piedmont's original athletic website went live during the 2002-2003 school year as PC entered its NCAA Division-III era. Since that original launch seven years ago, the athletic website has been a mainstay for fans, alumni, and current student-athletes to follow their favorite Lion or Lady Lion teams. The new version of the athletic website will provide all pertinent information dealing with athletics at PC in an even more efficient and modern fashion with added features and a sleek new design.
Having added 21 new client schools just this past spring including Georgia institutions SCAD-Atlanta and Morehouse College, Internet Consulting Services provides service to a list that includes nearly 500 athletic clients from around the country including Syracuse University, Cornell University, the University of Hawaii, and many other NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA and collegiate conferences. Started in 1996 by Jeff Rubin, ICS has a staff of approximately a dozen developers who possess a variety of expertise in graphic design, database management, information security management, web-based user interface design, and e-commerce business transaction management.
