LaGrange, GA -- The Great South Athletic Conference has announced Piedmont College women's soccer player KATIE PORTER as the Player of the Week for the week ending on September 27th. The junior forward notched a pair of goals and assists respectively in the Lady Lions' 7-1 victory at Peace College.

Last week Porter posted four goals and three assists in three contests. On the season she is leading the team in goals (10), assists (7), points (27) and game-winners (2). The award is the first of the season for the Lady Lions who currently stand at 7-2 overall and 1-0 in the Great South Athletic Conference.

PC will return to action again on Tuesday, September 29th as they travel to GSAC member LaGrange College in LaGrange, GA for a conference match slated to start at 5:30.
