Harriers Compete In Green and Gold Dual Meet

Anna McClatchy finished second overall with a 5K time of 30:30 in the PC Green and Gold Dual Meet this afternoon in Clarkesville, GA.
Clarkesville, GA -- The Piedmont College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the PC Green and Gold Dual Meet this afternoon against local rival Toccoa Falls College. The visiting Eagles claimed both victories defeating the Lions 21-40 and the Lady Lions 25-30.
On the men's side
Aaron Saylor paced the squad with a 5K time of 22:44 for a fifth place finish. Chez Maxwell and
Wesley Milton crossed the tape in 22:45 and 22:46 respectively while
Matt Collins and
Montez Jones closely followed in 22:47 and 22:48.
On the women's side
Anna McClatchy and
Michelle Sosia finished second and third respectively with times of 30:30 apiece.
Leah Cunningham crossed the finish line in 32:40 while
Melissa Crane and
Aubrey Tidwell rounded out the team with times of 43:04 apiece.
The harriers will return to the course again on Saturday, November 7th as they travel to the Great South Athletic Conference Championships hosted by LaGrange College in LaGrange, GA.
