The Piedmont College softball team was well-represented as five players were voted to the Great South Athletic Conference All-Conference team as announced today in conjuction with the conference tournament in Maryville, TN. PC also placed a pair of players on the league's All-Freshman team and seven players on the prestigous All-Academic list.

Earning All-Conference honors were Meredith Ray (pitcher), Michelle Crandall (catcher), Michelle Broderick (utility), Megan Day (infield), and Emily Maxey (outfield).

Crandall and Broderick were each named to the GSAC All-Freshman team.

Joining Ray and Maxey on the All-Academic team were Leah Della Torre, Lindsey Drevlow, Marissa Harding, Brooke Smith, and Jessica Van Dyke.
