The Piedmont College Baseball program will be hosting the
1st Annual Defensive/Pitcher Winter Camp and the
1st Annual Offensive Winter Camp on Saturday, January 14th and Sunday, January 15th. We are hoping to give high school players an honest example of a college practice. We will be giving hands on instruction in the mornings and then executing team practices with the entire camp in the afternoons. We want the players that attend to walk away knowing both what is involved and the intensity and pace of a college practice.
The goal of the
1st Annual Defensive/Pitcher Winter Camp is to show players all aspects of defensive play at the collegiate level. In the morning players will be given instruction at their positions as well as drill work to sharpen their skill sets. Pitchers will receive instruction on throwing mechanics, lead up drills and on numerous daily throwing drills. After lunch the camp will convene for an afternoon team defensive practice. In addition to the defensive instruction and team practice pitchers and catchers will be given an opportunity to execute a live bullpen session.

1st Annual Offensive Winter Camp is to show players all aspects of offensive play at the collegiate level. In the morning the players will be given instruction on swing fundamentals, drill work to sharpen their skills, live batting practice, bunting and base running. After lunch the camp will convene for an afternoon offensive batting practice that will feature live hitting, live defense, live base running and cage work.

rdombrowsky@piedmont.edu. Regardless of how you choose to send in the registration forms please email Coach Dombrowsky (see above) to ensure that we will have room for you at the camp and send confirmation.
Please also keep in mind that these are
two separate camps; we encourage players to attend both but we must have registration forms for each camp that will be attended. We will be capping each camp at 60 players as we feel this is the best working number for the practices we have planned.
We will not be taking walk-up registrations without prior knowledge of your plans to attend. We must have prior confirmation that you will be attending to guarantee you a spot.
