The Hills of Northeast Georgia – Men’s & Women’s Cross Country
The Piedmont College men’s and women’s cross country teams both use the surrounding area of the campus to hone their running skills as the landscape of Northeast Georgia is extremely conducive to cross country training. Its rolling hills and mountainous terrain are a true test and an ideal training spot for all runners. Piedmont’s cross country teams utilize areas such as Lake Russell State Park and Tallulah Gorge as practice facilities, as well as the areas nearby the Demorest campus. A concrete running trail winds through campus to provide the teams with a local running venue.
