Greensboro, N.C. - Piedmont's Lady Lion Tennis team overpowered Greensboro College In today's USA South tennis matches, 9-0. Piedmont earned their seventh win of the season with the victory. The Lady Lions only gave up three sets in three doubles matches to Greensboro.


In No. 5 singles, Nicole Parrish took straight sets from the Pride to clinch the win for Piedmont; 6-0, 6-0. Parrish's win motivated each of her teammates to singles victories in straight sets on the day.

Piedmont Women's Tennis is now 7-6 overall and 7-2 in the USA South Conference. The next bout for the Lions is a home match against Berry College April 3rd at 2:30pm.
