Decatur, GA - Lady Lions' standout senior Sada Wheeler collected her fifth Great South Athletic Conference Player of the Week award on Wednesday after an outstanding week of games.  The Gainesville native averaged 20.5 points per game in a pair of wins last week for Piedmont, as well as 11.5 rebounds per contest.

Wheeler dropped in a season-high 27 points while picking up 12 boards in a GSAC road win over Covenant, turning away four shots and swiping four steals.  She picked up her 12th double-double of the season in a home win against Huntingdon, going for 14 points, 11 rebounds and an amazing seven blocked shots.  In the two-game span, Wheeler shot 72-percent from the field.  Piedmont returns to action tomorrow night at 6:00 pm when Wesleyan visits Cave Arena.
