Scots Hand Lions 7-2 Loss To Open 2010 Campaign

Newcomer Ryan Cobo picked up a singles victory by forfeit in the Lions' 7-2 loss at the hands of Covenant this afternoon.
Chattanooga, TN -- In the 2010 season-opening match the Piedmont College men's tennis team fell to Covenant College this afternoon by the score of 7-2. The Lions were able to pick up a pair of points at #6 singles and #3 doubles by forfeit in the defeat.
The Lions will open Great South Athletic Conference action as they play host to Maryville College at Bergin Tennis Courts on Saturday, March 6th starting at 2:30.
