Jennings Named GSAC Women's Basketball Player Of The Week

Lisa Jennings has been honored as the Great South Athletic Conference's women's basketball Player of the Week.
LaGrange, GA -- The Great South Athletic Conference has announced the women's basketball Player of the Week with Piedmont College's senior guard Lisa Jennings earning the honor for the week ending January 31.
Jennings led the Lady Lions to a win over GSAC foe Maryville in their only game last week. She had a game-high 22 points in the 72-63 win. Jennings was 6-of-10 from the floor, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range. She added four assists and three rebounds and three steals.
The Lady Lions will return to action on Thursday, February 4th when the team looks to avenge an earlier loss to visiting Agnes Scott College with tip off set for 6:00 PM in the Johnny Mize Athletic Center.
