Lady Harriers Compete At Maryville College Invitational

Michelle Sosia led the Lady Lions with a 6K time of 32:52 at the Maryville College Invitational this morning in Maryville, TN.
Maryville, TN --The Piedmont College women's cross country team traveled to Great South Athletic Conference host Maryville College this morning and competed in the 6K MC Invitational. The Lady Harriers finished in sixth place out of the seven team field.
Newcomer
Michelle Sosia paced the team with a 6K time of 32:52.
Anna McClatchy closely followed with a time of 34 minutes even.
Melissa Crane and Katie Rice crossed the tape in 39:22 and 40:49 respectively while
Leah Cunningham and
Aubrey Tidwell rounded out the field with times of 41:08 and 43:26 apiece.
The women will return to the course again on Saturday, October 10th as they travel to the 37th Annual Furman University Invitational in Greenville, SC starting at 9:00.
