Demorest, GA -- With students returning to Piedmont College for the fall semester, the Piedmont College Department of Athletics will look very different from the spring semester those same students left behind. Several athletic facilities, including Walker Athletic Complex and the PC athletic offices themselves, have undergone and in some cases may still be undergoing dramatic renovations as the new academic year approaches.

Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College Office of Sports Information has announced that a new feature will be added to the PC Sports Network lineup starting with the 2010-2011 academic year. Beginning this fall, fans will now be able to tune in to a live weekly broadcast covering all things related to Piedmont College athletics enhancing fans' abilities to keep up with their favorite Lion and Lady Lion athletic teams.

LaGrange, GA -- The Great South Athletic Conference proudly announced its new branding identity earlier this morning spearheaded with a new logo and updated conference website. The new conference website boasts a new sleek design and features as the conference continues its partnership with SIDEARM Sports of Syracuse. The league's new logo was created by JL Designs in Holly Springs, NC.

Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College women's soccer team has released its 2010 match schedule complete with out-of-state contests against non-conference foes NC Wesleyan College and Methodist University, last season's USA South tournament runner-up. The Lady Lions will also host eight matches against teams from the state of Georgia as they look to improve on a 14-4 record during the 2009 campaign that included an appearance in the Great South Athletic Conference championship tournament final.
