Prattville, AL -- The #25 Piedmont College women's golf team wrapped up its 2009-10 season this afternoon with a fifth-place finish at the Huntingdon College Spring Invitational at Prattville Country Club. The Lady Lions carded a 36-hole total of 356-362--718 to finish just two-strokes behind NCAA Division I Tennessee State University.

Lookout Mountain, GA -- The #25 Piedmont College women's golf team earned a third-place finish this afternoon at the seven-team Reeder Cup hosted by Covenant College at the Lookout Mountain Golf Club.  The Lady Lions posted a 386-398--784 after sitting in a tie for second at the midway point of the 36-hole event.

New York, NY -- The Piedmont College women's golf team earned its first-ever national ranking this afternoon as the team broke into the GolfWorld Division III national poll released today by the National Golf Coaches Association.  The national ranking is only the third ever in the NCAA era for PC Athletics.

Dahlonega, GA -- The Piedmont College women's golf team fired a 348 team score to down NCAA Division II host North Georgia College & State University in a dual match at Achasta Golf Club.  The team score of 60-over is the fifth-best single round score in the program's history and easily distanced the host Lady Saints by 96 strokes (348-444).

Jekyll Island, GA -- The Piedmont College women's golf team set a new 54-hole scoring record en route to a 15th place finish at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational.  The tournament featured 23 of the nation's top NCAA Division III teams including eight teams ranked in the top 20.

Clarkesville, GA -- The Piedmont College women's golf team earned a runner-up finish in its first tournament of the spring semester this afternoon at the 4th Annual Piedmont College Spring Invitational at The Orchard Golf & Country Club.  PC posted a 36-hole total of 359-363--722 to finish second in the seven-team field.
